Andy patched four areas of drywall for us that where either a hole or tape was peeling. This type of a repair is more of an art than science and Andy did a great job. Additionally, we had rotted plywood on some baywindows on the exterior of the house that Andy replaced. Andy does very nice work and is very clean and professional. I would recommend him to anyone looking for handyman services.

Andy completed a variety of jobs in and around our house, such as changing chandelier light bulbs, replacing shingles on the roof, adding insulation to our attic, and replacing cracked boards on a stairwell. I have used Andy for several other projects in the past and he as always delivered consistently. This time was no different - he came out and gave me an estimate for the work involved - in this case the removal and installation of an exterior door. Andy arrived right on time and got to work right away. He had picked up the door from Menard's and it was the right size and design. The work went smoothly - he cleaned up after the work was done. Andy does very good work and is straightforward and honest - I would definitely use him for other jobs as they occur. In the past I have used his services for window frame repair, garage door repairs and now an exterior door replacement - in each and every case he has done the work professionally and his estimates are reasonable.

I emailed Andy photos and a description of the work I needed done. He provided a quick e-mail quote with available dates. I told Andy I needed timing sooner due to move in, and he offered better timing and adjusted his schedule to meet my needs. Andy was on-time, worked quickly, and provided quality results. I will definitely use him again!

The first time I used Andy I needed some simple stuff done that I didn't have time for. I chose Andy based on a referral from a friend. I'm generally skeptical -- of everything -- but I needed the help. I was so impressed by his responsiveness and quality of work that I've used him numerous times since then. Each time he exceeds expectations. Here's a partial list of what I can remember he's worked on: * repaired wood siding * repaired loose shingles * repaired chimney * installed a chimney cap * cleaned gutters * drywalled half of my garage ceiling * repaired and painted soffit and fascia * removed a skylight, closed hole, insulated, and drywalled * caulked around windows and doors

A+ on everything. His work continues to reset the bar higher each time, and he never lets me down. I have high expectations and they are so seldom met by people doing their job (whatever that may be). But Andy is a great guy - he straddles that line between professional and personable. And, here's my favorite part: he has shown me all sorts of tips and tricks that I can use. He never slows down when he talks or explains, and he never milks the billable hours. Don't think I'm just blowing air up his skirt - he's the real deal and I've recommended him probably 25 times to friends and neighbors.
Andy was great! Communication before the work was prompt, courteous and informative. On the day of the job, Andy arrived right on time after he had picked the doors up for me. His work was very good and even though we had a very minor problem with one of the doors, Andy came right back out to fix it quickly and with no problem at all. We really appreciated his efficiency and willingness to help. Will definitely hire Andy again and will keep him in mind for other projects as they arise. Very pleased. Thank you!

Andy was very professional and very nice! The price he quoted was the exact price he charged.  He replaced part of a door frame a large dog chewed on. It looks perfect! You would never know anything was replaced!  I think we found a handyman for any and all future projects!

Andy came to our home and inspected the work that need to be done; he promised an estimate within a couple of days and delivered on his promise.  We agreed upon a date for the repairs and the scope of the work; the estimate was a fair price for the amount of work required.  Andy confirmed the date and his arrival time several days in advance and was right on time ready to go to work.  Andy has the experience and competence to adjust for some unknown problems and the repair was better than the original work.  The repairs were completed in one day with the area cleaned up to the point that nobody would even know that he had been there. I would highly recommend Andy and will definitely use him in the future!
Description of work:
We had siding and sill plate damage as the result of a contractor putting pavers against siding without an insulating material. Andy replaced the damaged wood, build a step from composite material and added insulation that should have been installed originally.
This was the first time we used Andy Wehrli and we found him to be VERY thorough with all the work he either did himself or organized others to do. His workmanship is excellent and his timeliness is way better than other contractors we've worked with. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone seeking to do anything from a simple plumbing leak to a substantial remodeling.
